Patty is Senior Teacher

October 1, 2008 · 3 Comments

Patty Thomas, who currently teaches Intermediate students, has accepted the position of Senior Teacher at GV Caloundra. She has been offered the position as recognition of the dedication and many skills she brings to GV.  Patty’s career spans a number of countries and various teaching positions through Australia. She has taught Upper Intermediate, EAP and IELTS programs at GV and we are happy that she has promised to stay with us for the next year. Her role means that she will also do some of the administration and will take over running the school if Andy is unavailable.

Yesterday the GV staff had a glass of bubbly (champagne) to celebrate her appointment.  I hope the students will also congratulate Patty on her promotion.

Well done Patty!

Hey Patty congratulations on the promotion and congrats to everyone at GV Caloundra on your 1st birthday.
I really miss everyone at GV Caloundra but have been really busy teaching in the Czech Republic- last week 32 contact hours plus a few extra travelling to customer sites around Plzen. This weekend is the Plzen Beer Festival so will sink a few… bands and bars at the town square and the Brewery (Pilsener Urquell)… it is not really beer drinking weather (<10c)…more likely rum! All the best in your new role.
